Nina Aleksandrovna Cheremnykh was living in Leningrad when she met the artist Mikhail Cheremnykh in 1928. From then on, she was the author or coauthor of many texts for her husband’s posters. She also collaborated with him on a set of flashcards. In October 1941, the Cheremnykhs were evacuated to the city of Biisk in the Altai region. After returning to Moscow in mid-1943, they collaborated on a number of TASS posters.
