Part One comprises several designs for a crystal house, an apolitical and secular center of worship for the new mankind. Bruno Taut describes the inside: "Speaking is not permitted in the temples—one can enter at all times—even at night... the great silence... is only interrupted from time to time by subtle orchestral and organ music. At times a few imposing cosmic paintings and sculptures can be seen... Building material is only glass..."
