1. Young Fritz was full of mischief,
Cutting cats and hanging birds.

2. He grew up and got still smarter,
Drinking beer without getting drunk.

3. He was a connoisseur of art,
Striking sculptures with a hammer.

4. In the morning he would blow a horn
And read "Mein Kampf."

5. Among bandits he was quite a hero,
Plotting their nocturnal raids.

6. He set off merrily to war
To pillage the Russian land.
