Fascist Crow or Ersatz-Peacock?, May 24, 1942

Stencil
With thieving and criminal deviousness
An idiot crow took to camouflaging itself:
Its tail was stuck with peacock feathers.
“I can caw-caw-conquer the entire world! ”
Goebbels cried: “Mein braver Führer! Meine peacock!
The most victorious glory awaits you!”

The ersatz peacock flew over Europe,
Leaving a trail behind not of syrup,
But of destruction, blood and death.
It boasted: “I’ve conquered all the West!
Now I only need to reach the East:
I’ll deal with Moscow in a blink of the eye.”
