The Poetry Foundation, publisher of Poetry magazine, is one of the largest literary foundations in the world. An independent literary organization committed to a vigorous presence for poetry in our culture, it exists to discover and celebrate the best poetry and to place it before the largest possible audience. The Poetry Foundation seeks to be a leader in shaping a receptive climate for poetry by developing new audiences, creating new avenues for delivery, and encouraging new kinds of poetry through innovative literary prizes and programs.

For more information, or to subscribe to Poetry magazine, please visit www.poetryfoundation.org.

In addition to poetry readings featuring C. D. Wright, the Poetry Foundation collaborates with the Art Institute this season on a series of readings exploring the depth and breadth of modernist literature in all its forms, featuring actors from the Goodman Theatre. All events are free and occur on selected Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. in Fullerton Hall at the Art Institute.
