Inna Mikhailovna Levidova studied at the Maksim Gor’kii Literary Institute and became a member of the Writers’ Union. She later gained renown as a translator, publisher, and scholar of British literature. Levidova compiled bibliographies of translations and studies of authors from Henry Fielding to H. G. Wells. Her translations included works by George Orwell, William Trevor, and Tennessee Williams. She contributed texts to numerous TASS posters beginning in October 1944.
