Ware, a resident of Oak Park, recently created two drawings to benefit the Historical Society of Oak Park and River Forest. The Charles A. Purcell residence was designed by the owner’s son William Gray Purcell and was later elaborated upon by George Grant Elmslie, who had previously worked for Louis Sullivan. Just a few doors down is the Arthur B. Heurtley residence, an early work by Frank Lloyd Wright and a prime example of what later became known as the Prairie School style. Ware has embellished these scenes with circular views depicting the areas at different periods throughout history.
