The Science Museum of London celebrated a ‘3D Summer’ full of events exploring the ideas of 3-D design and printing. These events fed into the development of the exhibition 3D: printing the future at the museum through mid-June. More than 600 3-D printed objects fill an exhibition wall telling stories of how these technologies are poised to change our lives.

Pippa Hough works with the Exhibitions team at the Science Museum and was a key collaborator in the 3D Summer events and the exhibition development. She shared her experiences with the Museum3D Advisory team January 22nd, 2014.

Due to connectivity issues trading data across the pond, this is not a ‘heads up’ Hangout, but we’ve tried to add relevant visuals.
