My Job and My Interests:

As the Coordinator of Family Programs, my job is to create and implement programming for families visiting the museum. This includes teaching workshops, developing drop in studio activities, and giving families tours of the Art Institute’s collection.

An Artwork that Inspires Me:

Joan Mitchell’s City Landscape has always been a favorite painting of mine. It used to hang next to a Clyfford Still painting that my mom loved in college, so the gallery became an important stop during my childhood visits to the museum. As an artist, I’m particularly attracted to Mitchell’s use of color and line, and her clear love of paint.
