- 1 ounce Letherbee 2013 Autumnal Gin
- 1 ounce Glögg (recipe follows)
- ¼ ounce Angostura bitters
- ¼ ounce Peychaud's bitters
- ½ ounce simple syrup
- ¾ ounce lemon juice
Shake. Double strain. Coupe. No garnish.
The Whistler's housemade Glögg is made by mulling Malbec-Syrah, ruby port, and Aquavit with cardamom, clove, cinnamon, almonds, raisins, and orange peels. The Glögg is then strained through cheesecloth, cooled to room temperature, and bottled.
